Registration open for Orton-Gillingham Associate Training – Fall-Winter 2016-17

ASSOCIATE FALL/WINTER session:

Saturdays – Oct 1, Oct 22, Nov 5, Nov 19, 2016
Saturdays – Jan 14, Feb 4, Feb 25, Apr 8, 2017

TIME:  9:00 – 5:00                  TOTAL 64 hours

Registration is limited and courses do fill up. 

O-G Training Associate Registration_Fall/Winter 2016-17

Prerequisite:  No previous O-G/MSL experience necessary.  A good working knowledge of English is required.  A Bachelor of Arts is required to apply to the Academy to become an Associate Member as well as completion of a supervised practicum (to be arranged separately).  This is the first step to becoming a fully Certified member of the Academy.

Location: 125 Brentcliffe Road, Toronto, Ontario (Northlea United Church – Bayview/Eglinton- North Leaside)

Training by Liisa Freure, M.Ed., OCT, Fellow/AOGPE.

NOTE:  This course exceeds the requirements by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators for the Associate level training (minimum of 60 hours).
Trainees who complete this coursework are eligible for a supervised practicum
(to be arranged separately) which is a requirement for membership in the Academy.
