Seminar – The Multiple Effects of Literacy on the Brain by Stanislas Dehaene

If you want to know more about what happens in our brain when we read or you are interested in how the brain is both shaped by and has had a role in shaping language, this would be a wonderful seminar to attend.  On February 19, 2015 Stanislas Dehaene will deliver a special seminar – “The Multiple Effects of Literacy on the Brain” at the Montreal Neurological Institute Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre, 3801 rue University, Montreal, QC.  I would attend if I could!  CLICK here to download an article written by Dr. Dehaene that will give you a taste of what he is sure to discuss – The Massive Impact of Literacy on the Brain and its Consequences for Education.
